TSN Kicks Off 2005 CFL Season with Comprehensive CFL Season Preview Show
21 Games in High Definition

TSN rings in a new season of CFL football with the CFL Season Preview Show on Monday, June 20 at 7 p.m. ET.  TSN's Dave Randorf anchors the special preview from the TSN Studio alongside analysts Chris Schultz, Matt Dunigan and Jock Climie.   The show also features newly acquired CFL play-by play voice Chris Cuthbert and veteran colour commentator Glen Suitor live from Montreal's McGill Stadium in preparation for TSN's first CFL telecast on June 22 at 7 p.m. ET, featuring the Hamilton Tiger-Cats @ Montreal Alouettes.

During the 90-minute preview show, the CFL studio panel will explore the latest issues surrounding the upcoming season, as well as conduct interviews with Ottawa Renegades Head Coach Joe Paopao and Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Ricky Ray.  Dunigan, a CFL Hall of Fame pivot, will provide fans with a comprehensive overview of the state of quarterbacking in the CFL this season.  Toronto Argonauts Head Coach Mike 'Pinball' Clemons will also join the panel to talk about the possibility of the Argos repeating as Grey Cup champions.

Cuthbert will conduct a one-on-one interview with Saskatchewan Roughriders kicker Paul McCallum, revisiting the fallout of his missed field goal in the dying minutes of overtime during last year's Western Final.  Suitor will look ahead to potential impact players (aka Glen's Gladiators) who may surface during the upcoming season.

Also weighing in on the upcoming season are esteemed Canadian journalists David Naylor (Globe and Mail) and Eric Francis (Calgary Sun), who will offer their opinions on various controversial league issues in the segment, 3 Downs.

TSN's CFL Season Preview Show also features reports from SportsCentre correspondents on the challenges facing each CFL team this season with the special feature, Three Burning Questions.

Fresh on the heels of the highly successful pre-season tilt 'Touchdown Atlantic' from Halifax, TSN will televise the most comprehensive CFL broadcast schedule in network history with 53 regular season games this year, 21 of which will be available in High Definition.  TSN will broadcast Wendy's Friday Night Football every Friday night throughout the regular season, Wendy's CFL Live games during the week and five doubleheaders.  The regular season on TSN kicks off with the season opener featuring Hamilton @ Montreal on June 22.
