What options do I have to get HDTV signals in Oakville, ON? We have Cogeco (as opposed to Rogers) and to the best of my knowledge they do not carry HDTV programming, nor have any timeframe announced

When is the last time you called Cogeco? They have a limited supply of HD set-top boxes available.

Add an antenna. I'm in west Toronto, using a modest Radio Shack outdoor antenna. I get all the Buffalo stations..
14 Fox
33 NBC
39 CBS
43 PBS
I dont think ABC is available yet from Buffalo.
Toronto stations are available..
53 CITY
66 Toronto1

Not much in the winter, but this past summer i had a great time "DX'ing" - picking up stations from afar when the TV band signals open up..
Detroit, Rochester, Erie PA, Youngstown OH, and Many other locales. Watch for when the analog stations start to come in then look for the digitals. Try it, its fun.
