Economic & Marketing Working Group

•Economic Initiatives:

–identify economic implications of transition to digital
–provide assessments of capital requirements
–determine optimum timing for commencement and completion of transition
–create various economic models as industry options

•Marketing Initiatives:

–examine issues such as a "DTV Ready" sticker program (ATSC certified) for a Canadian equivalent
–develop a pamphlet to public that explains what DTV is
–develop a generic marketing strategy for an industry roll-out
