CDTV - Montreal Test Transmitter

Montreal CDTV's Demonstration DTV Station 

The channel 64 station has been installed early October 2002 on a temporary location, atop the Radio-Canada building downtown of Montreal.  It has been inspected by Industry Canada on December 2nd, and was allowed official transmission three weeks later.  

The transmitter provide 300Wavg at the filter's output, which fed into the omniod antenna having a 11,5dBd maximum gain, results into a 3,0kWavg ERP maximum (at 1,75deg tilt), or 2,52kWavg max horizontally. The distance to the theorical F(50,90) 39 dBu contour varies from 43 to 50km.
